Splatoon Koshien 2016
Summary
The Japanese national Splatoon convention, held in 8 cities!
4-person teams take on each other in a tournament.
Winning teams will be invited to the National conference in Chiba's "Makuhari Messe" Convention Center on 1/30/2016!
- You need 4 people to participate
- no age limit (minors will require written consent of their guardian.)
- If several teams apply, participating teams will be chosen by lottery

Rules:

Mode: Turf war, 1 game.
Semi-finals and Finals will be best of 3 games.

Stage: Randomly selected from the following:
- Arowana Mall
- Walleye Warehouse
- Blackbelly Skatepark
- Saltspray Rig
- Urchin Underpass

Weapons: After the stage has been selected, you can select your weapon (any weapon that can be obtained up to the day before the tournament)

Gear:
- Head: Squid Hairclip (Swim speed up)
- Clothes: School Uniform (Ink recovery up)
- Shoes: School Shoes (Sub Ink Saver )

Game version: Latest version of Splatoon up to the day before the tournament (Tournament edition).

Controller: WiiU Gamepad (connected by wire)

Options:
- You will have 60 seconds to make your changes, including weapon selection.
- You can adjust the camera speeds (originally set to default settings).
- Color Lock
Precautions

Setting misconfigurations:
There will be no rematches due to misconfiguration of your settings (camera option, selected weapon, ect)

Mid-game disconnects:
Regardless of the situation, if there is a disconnection, the game will be considered invalid. If the disconnection was deliberate, the causing team will be disqualified.

Tournament delays:
According to tournament rules, participants will be called up by the management staff. If you do not show up, you will lose by default.

Use of wireless devices:
Due to the event's use of wireless equipment like wireless microphones, please refrain from using wireless devices
If you are discovered causing a disturbance using a wireless device, you may be disqualified.

Multiple entries:
people participating in multiple teams within one local event are prohibited. if you are discovered to have duplicate entries by management, you will be disqualifed in accordance to official rules.
